City of Minneapolis: One of our oldest and largest clients. We have been recycling mattresses for the City since 2012. Annually, we process over 30,000 pieces for the residents of Minneapolis.
Hennepin County
Hennepin County – Investments have allowed Second Chance Recycling to triple it’s capacity since 2012 and be able to recycle up to 150,000 mattresses per year.
Minneapolis Climate Action
Minneapolis Climate Action: Our renewable energy partner is installing a solar garden on the Second Chance roof in summer 2020 able to produce 323,310 kWhs of electricity a year for the community, with a target of providing energy to low-income households.
